1.
First
thoroughly clean the areas to be covered. Use soap and water. Next
wipe thoroughly with Rubbing Alcohol and then let dry.
2.
It is best to take each piece before you peel the protective back off of
it and position
it on the engine where it is supposed to go. Consider this your practice
run.
Note: Once you stick the pieces on it will impossible to use them
again.
Once you are comfortable on how it will fit move to the next step.
3.
After you
have centered each foil piece long ways on TOP of its proper support bar
(to be covered) as a practice run: Pick a Chrome vinyl piece and Peel
off the backing on the strip.
Once again center the foil strip on top the bar as did before during the
practice run.
Carefully push down with one finger along length of the foil on top of
the bar.
The foil strip should now be laying flat on top the bar and centered
long ways and side ways.
The idea here is when you are done you want the seam to end up
underneath the bar so it is not visible. See Figure A below.

Figure A
Figure
B
Start with
one side. Run your finger long ways evenly pressing the foil strip down
around the bar. See Figure B above.
Do the same for the other side.
When
completed the seam should be along the center line of the bottom
of the bar.
See pictures on Page 2.
