PROWLER DOOR SILLS©

PART#  ACC-PRDS800  (Brushed)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

      Parts included:                                                    Items Needed:

       2-Doorsills                                                              Household Rubbing alcohol

1- Pack Adhesive Promoter                                      Clear Household Silicone

       6- Chrome Bolt Covers

  1. Remove your current factory black plastic doorsill. You can do this by pulling it up slowly so as to allow any glue to come up as you pull.

  1. Clean the area with household rubbing alcohol until the entire area to be mounted is clean of any remaining glue or residue. Then swipe the area once with the adhesive promoter pack (provided).

  1. Your new stainless sills come to you with three holes. These holes are designed to fit over the three factory bolts in the door sill area. However these bolts may need to be adjusted to allow proper seating. Place the new sill so that it fits properly and make note of its position. Once you are satisfied with the fit remove the red liner from the attachment tape on the underside and reposition. Press firmly to set.

  1. Repeat steps 1-3 for the opposite door.

  1. You have been provided with 6-chrome bolt covers. Simply apply a small dab of clear household silicone to the underside of the chrome covers and position over the factory bolt heads.  Allow at least one hour to set.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE:
Note:
Care must be taken when cleaning your cover. It is a good idea to lightly dust your cover with a clean soft cloth first in order to prevent any particles from scratching it. Then wipe (using a new clean soft cloth) with a good quality streak free glass cleaner.
